Creating a task for checking mail.
In Insight manager 7, you could create a querie and then create a task to see if a mail was sent correct.
How do you do it SM4?
I think that creating task in SM4 is more complicated than in IM7.

On the horizontal menu bar at the top, click on Options/Events/Automatic Event Handling/New Event and follow the prompts.
You will get to a point where you will be prompted to select a notification method - email, pager, etc.
Make sure to setup your smtp server here: Options/Events/Automatic Event Handling/Email Settings.
