Hi Everyone,
I know "Suspend or Resume Monitoring" is a toolbox option I could enable or disable....
I'm wondering if I could disable the option for a user group to use the "Suspend monitoring of target systems indefinitely".
I would still like to allow "Suspend monitoring of target systems for ## minutes" and allow "Enable monitoring of target systems"
I was also curious if there's a way to add additional minutes, hours or days to the available options in the suspend for # number of #.
Thanks,
Dana

Hello Dana,
The Users must be authorized to use the EDIT_SYSTEM_PROPERTIES tool on the systems you want to update.
As far as I know, Either you allow the Users to Use all of these features Or NON of them. Also, the Time options cannot be customized.
{Unless someone has a bright idea to enlighten us}
:) Regards.

Re: Customize Suspend/Resume monitoring options?
Hi Happy Dude,
Thanks for the tip on needing the EDIT_SYSTEM_PROPERTIES turned on for the group to have access to suspend monitoring.
The new version of HPSIM 5.2 sounds like it has some additional security options. It will be interesting to try it on a test server.
Thanks again,
Dana
