CV9.3 smi-s issue
We installed HPSIM and then SMI-S .
The WMI Mapper is using default port 5989.
When installed SMI-S I used port 60001 .
Configured the wbemport.xml file for hpsim .
when I run the system discovery of the CMS it found the CIMOM but says the no SMI-S CIMOM is present and consequently no storage is being discovered .
Can anyone help me with it ?
thanks

Re: CV9.3 smi-s issue
You will find wbemdisco in the home directory of your SIM installation. If you run the program from the cmd, you should see your storage at the end of the wbemdisco output.

Re: CV9.3 smi-s issue
In the wbem credentials section for the CV Server you will need to add credentials of a user that is in the local Storage Admins Group.
Also look at using wbemdisco to verify access.

Re: CV9.3 smi-s issue
I found what the problem was .
Modifying the file wbemportlist some extra "hidden" character made the xml format invalid .
I removed the added line and typed them again and itsolved the issue
thanks
