I am new to HP SIM and trying to figure out if and/or how can I generate a daily email that will give me the following info on each one of my systems:
Avg Processor Utilization (past 24 hrs)
Avg Memory Available or Used (past 24 hrs)
Avg Logical Disk Free Space

Re: Daily system emails
Using just HPSIM you're not going to be able to do that.
But some of that data is in the HPSIM database, so you may be able to script a query that pulls that data out and formats it.

hi
tricky one here :
1/check the following thread it might give you ideas on the queries you should create:
https://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1260571
2/create a script on the HP SIM server that will launch the query and insert the result in a mail or post it on a web(easier to my mind)
3/Integrate the script in HP SIM by creating a custom tool that can be scheduled daily.
I attach a small doc on creating the custom tool (this one generates a report and post it on a web automatically)
hope it helps
