Database Estimation Size via hp's Online Sizing Tool
I used the link "Configuration information for sizing your SIM server" and used the tool to size our 2 environments for the number of hosts we have now and may have in the future.
Any idea how much more % of disk space for the database location I should add for breathing room?
Thanks!

Re: Database Estimation Size via hp's Online Sizing Tool
The main item that affects HPSIM Database size is whether you'll collect Historical data or not.
A standard install just overwrites the collected data. But you can also add another task to maintain historical data - very useful for capacity planning etc.
In terms of database sizes HPSIM doesn't get that large. But as disk space is not too expensive a commodity I'd tend to allow for a lot of growth.
I've given up trusting DB figures, I start with doubling it and I've been caught out by some of our applications even with that!
