Disable Network Card Remotely
A number of discovered servers are displaying a hardware error because one of the Network cards has not been disabled and is not being used. Can I resolve this issue using HP systems Insight Manager if so how?

Re: Disable Network Card Remotely
No, not via HPSIM.
Your options are to disable the device or to use a loopback connector.

Re: Disable Network Card Remotely
HI
True loop back connector will prevent the error reported. But if you are not using it it is better to disable on the OS(w2k and windows 2003 can disable on the control panel - no reboot reuired)
