discovery filters

Please excuse this basic question, but I'm new to HPE SIM and I've been having a terrible time with it and HPE giving me the runaround so I thought I'd come here.

Within the Options, Discovery, General Configuration Settings, Even if I enable discovery filters, all the the system types are still greyed out and I cannot select any of them.

We've got C Calss Chassis, BL servers running ESX 6.0 as VMWARE hosts, DL servers, and some ML servers. Does anyone have advice or best practices for General Settings for All Discoveries ?
