Disk Threshold generates "Generic Unregistered" Trap

I am setting up Disk Threshold on some Windows and ESX boxes from HP SIM 5.1

The thresholds are being set as I can see them in the Systems Homepage.

I then have an automatic event to send me an email when it passes the warning and critical.

However I can see traps being generated in the system log, but the traps sent to the SIM server are showing as "Generic Unregistered"

In the server system log it shows as:

Threshold Agent: Rising Threshold Passed.
SNMP MIB Variable .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.4.1.1.5.1 has value 91 >= 90.
Severity: Warning
Description: E:Data [NTFS] disk space.
Refer to the MIB for a definition of the variable.
[SNMP TRAP: 10005 in CPQTHRSH.MIB]

So it looks like the correct trap is generated on the server so where is it going wrong?

Thanks

Re: Disk Threshold generates "Generic Unregistered" Trap

I have managed to install the MIB, I would have assumed that a HP product would have the HP MIBs installed but thats what assuming does for you.

My problem now is that I am not receiving any snmp traps from the servers now.

No responses so will close.

In installed the mibs, had to reboot the SIM server for it to start working.
