Does the HP Agents support the use of a 3rd party SNMP service?

Somebody has disabled the MS SNMP service on one of our HP Proliant servers, and installed a 3rd party app which installs its own SNMP service. Obviously, now my HP Agents won't start and we can't monitor it properly.

So, will the HP Agents only work with the Microsoft SNMP service?

I think so, interesting approach to rip out the MS snmp package rather than just use it!
