Domain implications for SIM 4.1 Installation

I am setting up a brand new PC as a SIM management station. Do I have to connect it to my (Windows) domain before I install SIM?

Are there any considerations with regards to DNS domains that managed nodes must reside in?

No, HP SIM will work fine on a standalone server.

Make sure that both forward and reverse DNS are populated and working.
