Hi.
I have a SIM 5.1 install on Windows 2003 that appears to be registering duplicate events. Every type of alert (hard disk / services / threshold etc) appears twice in the system alerts panel. Our servers are running various versions of agents, from about 7.2 up to 7.7 and they are all exhibiting the same problem when alerting SIM.
Has anyone seen a similar problem?
Thanks

Solution
I had the same problem and it was because of how I had SNMP set up. In the Trap section, I had both my private and public string set with trap destinations to my SIM server. Once I removed the trap destination for my public string, the double event notifications stopped.
