Email Notification

I am having difficulty setting up email notification in insight manager. I would like to recieve email notification for every important event except for the events that are generated by 3 windows servers running Backup Exec. I do not want to recieve notifications regarding the tape drive requiring human intervention (ie: tape needs to be changed\inserted\removed). Is it possible to configure email notification in such a way or disable a certain agent on the servers that will not affect any other monitoring or notification ?

Disable the scsci agent in control panel/compaq agent pack

If i disable the scsi agent, will its disable alerts regading harddisks failures, array failures or alerts regarding scsi controller errors ?
