I am interested in setting up SIM to send an email out whenever there is a Critical, Major, Minor errors and then send out another email when these are fixed.
I have successfully have setup the SMTP server. What I wanted to know was, do I need to setup an individual task for each one or can I do it all in one task??
My second question is that I have version 4.0. Can I upgrade it to 4.1?

Re: Email Notifications
You can set these up all in one task but I would warn you that you are going to get alot of notifications if you have minor and major setup. I setup an event for Major and then Normal. That way if something critical happens I will get notified and if it happens to be just something temp that it will notify me on a normal status. This seems to work quite well. I am also wondering if there are any ramifications to upgrading to 4.1? I would like to see someone else be the guinea pig :)
