Emailing hpsim 5.0 reports

When I open a managed report (doesn't matter which one)and I choose, File\Send\Page By Email, I get an error msg that reads "The Current Document Type cannot be sent as Mail. Would you like to send a shortcut instead?". Using HP 4.2, I do not receive this error. Also, if I save the report as an HTML Only, and try the operation, I do not get the same error.
Using IE 6.0
Outlook 2000 or 2003
