Error code: 2147500037 Required white space was missing

Iv'e started getting the following error in my VCRM logs in the last 3 days each time it tries to update the inventory from HP:

Message: The automatic repository update failed because an error occurred while processing the download site catalog.

Additional Data
Error for file: D:\VCRepository\catalog.xml
Error code: 2147500037
Required white space was missing.

Server has been restarted (this has fixed previous "quirks" in VCRM) but error persists.

Also, is there a way to manually trigger an update so I don't have to wait for the scheduled job each day when trying to resolve issues like this?
