Error modifying tasks after applying SIM 5.3 Hotfix (HOTFIX53_001.jar)

I am receiving "An error occurred while attempting to modify task "taskname"", suddenly after applying this hotfix. Below is the error represented in mx.log.

@!@,2009-03-02 10:37:21 EST,CONFIG,FAILURE,MODIFY,TASK,Daily Device Identification,ERROR,CPWIQAHG\mxadmin,0,56359,
An error occurred while attempting modify task "Daily Device Identification".

I have 2 other servers running v5.3 pre-hotfix and I'm not seeing this behavior on either of them. I applied this to fix the iLO issue it was prescribed to fix, but now I cannot re-enable the tasks I disabled to stop the bleeding. Does anyone have any idea what the issue is here or know of a fix?

Plot thickens. Now all records of managed systems are missing. Doesn't appear to be a DB connectivity problem as there are events in the Windows application log for systems as status is reported to SIM. This is very odd.

OK, looks like this problem was due to the fact that the DB log file had run out of disk space to continue transactions to the DB. Once I stopped the SIM services and had the log file cleaned up and paired back down to a reasonable size all of my issues were resolved..
