Error shooting many servers at once using SIM 4.2
I have a case opened up with HP, ( hope it is escalated) which involves SIM. I have attached a text file showing my problem. It appears we cannot shoot multiple servers at a clip, when I run 5 or 10 in a batch, only the first one gets updated then I get this message:
HP Remote Deployment Console Utility
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Initializing...
Unable to connect to the target computer. All available connection methods were
attempted with no success.
A possible reason is that the operating system of the target computer is not sup
ported. Either the username is unknown, or a bad password was provided.
Unknown Initialization Error!
I use both initial support paq install and the normal install software/firmware option. We need to shoot 200 servers by this weekend before our cyber center cut-over. Can you help out this poor soul??? Many thanks
Mike.

Re: Error shooting many servers at once using SIM 4.2
Hi Mike,
Do you have SNMP and WBEM setup correctly? Also does the WBEM account have local admin on each server?
