Establishing trust/packing certificate with PSP

Greetings folks,

I'm a little lost on something and hoping someone can clarify. I've recently setup HPSIM to monitor a few hundred HP servers- no standard config to the bunch. What I'm hoping to do from a central point, my SIM server, is to reconfigure all those servers to 1 standard. No to be able to replicate settings, the only way as I understand it, I need to establish a trust with the client and to do I have to package a new PSP with SMH and the trusted certificate.

If I have that right, my next question is how do I create PSP containing SMH and my SIM cert?

Do you have administrative credentials to all the servers? If so, you can use the Configure / Repair Agents utility to push the HPSIM Certificate to all servers with SMH installed.

I do have admin credentials for all the servers, not the same for all but yes I have the info.

Hi, i think you are confused.
you need to install SIM, SMH and VCRM. i think you already have them if you have installed HPSIM complete.
configure cert in SMH(https://:2380) and also confugure VC repository.

Now you can push this PSP from HPSIM to all managed nodes.

I deffinately was confused- partly because my perception of a PSP was... mostly because I' daft and just confusing myself but the repsonses have help clear things up.

Deployments sometimes rely on the Trust, so you can't replicate things as there is no trust.

...is quite old, but it's how I've deployed an updated SMH containing a new certificate.
I've not tried this with SIM 6, so not sure if its still required or works the same way.
