ESX 3.5 + HP SMH misreporting disk sizes

We have a DL380 G4 with SA6402 controller and 2 x 1.36TB external drives. HP System Management Homepage mis-reports the disk sizes as 255GB and will not allow disk usage thresholds to be set. This used to work ok with ESX 3.0, server has been rebuilt to ESX 3.5

Anybody seen similar problems ?

Yes, I've tried versions 7.9.1, 8.0.0 and 8.0.0A

Currently the File System space used info reads:

Used Space : -829951289
Unused Space : 831667769
Total Space : 1716480

I've found that if I add the external disk to ESX as 950GB, it displays the size correctly in the "File System Space Used", any bigger than 950GB and it all goes wrong.

raise a case at HP support.
It could be a bug may be they have limitation in showing more than that!
