What software must be installed on both SIM host and host with CV?

Re: EVA4100 and SIM 6.0
The EVA is discovered via CV.
You need to add credentials for the CV Server into SIM that have access to CV (e.g. in the local Storage Admins Group)
Look for wbemdisco as that helps diagnose problems, google it and you'll find a lot more tips on getting this to work.

Re: EVA4100 and SIM 6.0
I suppose the router blocked ports.
When I've installed CV EVA and SIM on the same host all works fine.
