Event Filter Settings

Using HP SIM 5.0, in the Event Filter Settings I only check Critical and Major. I am still getting Minor events being sent to HP SIM. What I'm trying to do is that I have two AutomaticEventHandler task, one too notify me if it is Critical/Major event and the other when it goes back to Normal status. I keep getting emails from a Minor event that has change back to Normal, which I do not want. Any suggestions? Help.. Thank you Jessie
