Event Handler Config Change in SIM
Hi.
I am running SIM Build version: C.04.00.00 on a W2K server with SQL2000. A few days ago,
I stopped receiving e-mails from SIM. When I checked the events status on the server, I saw that new events were being raised, but when I checked the setup of the Automatic Event Handling Tasks, I found that the drop down box that previously read "Where (system name) is (any)" now reads "Where (cluster membership) is (any)". If I try to set up a new event,
when I get to step 3, I do not get the choice of (system Name), I only get a list that ranges from "cluster membership" to "software/firmware", but no "system name". Nothing has been added to the server that SIM is on, and there is nothing
in the Event logs on the server to indicate what happened. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Event Handler Config Change in SIM
I'm going to suggest that you open a call with customer services. This does not sound like something that the forum can easily solve.

Re: Event Handler Config Change in SIM
Hi,
I had a similar problem with Automatic Events Handling a few months ago. If I remember correctly, restarting the HP SIM service resolved it. I apologize if you've already tried such a basic solution, but that's my only suggestion. :-)
