Event ID:3 from HPSIM

[Srinivasa Rao Surosay]

I get the below error:

1. Lost connection to database, exception: java.sql.SQLException: Unable to get information from SQL Server: . SQL=

2. Restarting MxDomainManager

3. Restart was Successful

4. HP Systems Insight Manager started.

This takes 10 to 15 mins to start the service affecting users.

Please reply if anyone has the resolution.

You need to find out why it's dropping connections to the database server.
HPSIM is doing its part by restarting.

That's most likely a site specific issue, look at the network etc.
