Event Notification disabled

Hi Folks,
I'm having an issue on my insight manager pc. The event notification service is not starting. When I try and start it ig gives me Event ID 7024.
Any ideas.

If you are referring to the HP Insight Event Notifier Service (CIMnotify) then I'd disable it, you generally do not need it.
You configure HPSIM to point to the SMTP Server, you don't need the Notify Utility to do it.
I've disabled the Service on all my Servers.
