Event to send email with the time when server is down

I've set an event to send email when a server is unreachable.
But I would like to see the timestamp as well, i.e. when HP insight manager detected it.
How should I configure at the 'Send e-mail' settings?

ALso, I've got a problem here. I've deleted all the systems and did a auto-discovery for all the servers recently. That night, I received emails of all the servers are unreachable. When I checked the HP Insight Manager, the event logs do not have such events. This had happen over the weekend as well, any idea what is the problem?

Re: Event to send email with the time when server is down

What is the selection criteria you are using for your notification? If you are selecting for all 'Systems Insight Manager' events, then you will be notified when the server is unreachable, when it becomes reachable again, or when the system is first discovered. This is the criteria I use. I am willing to put up with the single page I receive on initial discovery, to be able to receive notification of both unreachable & reachable servers.

If you use the 'standard' message format instead of 'pager/SMS', the you will receive the 'Event Received' time-stamp in the body of the message.

Good Luck !!

Tks. I'm actually sending the alert to email address and sms via smtp.
So any idea will the timestamp shown on the sms as well?

Re: Event to send email with the time when server is down

Maybe I'm not following, but I've attached what I use for notifications. I don't get the time stamp from the HPSim server in the pager notifications, but I do in the email (I can't rely on the 'received' time stamp for the mailbox). I suppose if you wanted the time stamp in the page, you could insert a 'now' command in the custom script that sends the notification.
