Hi,
I've just created a number of system lists within SIM to reflect applications within our business. It would be nice if the individuals who maintain these applications could be notified whenever a critical event for any of the systems in the system list associated with their application arises, unfortunately I can't figure out how to configure this with the automated event handler.
I really don't want to have to re-create my systems lists within the automated event handler 'select systems' page (step 3) but I can't see how else to do it.
Any suggestions would be great.

Solution
We had this discussion last month. Unfortunately, HPSIM does not provide for this kind of system name filtering yet. :(

Re: Filter alerts by system list
But hopefully the number of requests for it on the forum might tip HP into considering it for the post 4.1 update.

Re: Filter alerts by system list
Thanks for the swift reply, I did do a quick scan over some of the previous posts (a search facility would be nice - apologies if I missed it somehow) but didn't find the previous discussions.
Perhaps HP want us all to upgrade to OpenView :D
