Forum usage is for community help, not bug reports

Every once in a while this reminder seems to be in order.

There is an official process for reporting actual bugs to HP, but this forum is not one of them.

The purpose of the forums is to use the greater knowledge of the community of users who may be able to give advice on how they dealt with a problem. By and large, this has to do with configuration problems and how to deal with them or advice on how to use the program.

Information including worldwide phone numbers for customer services and a web-based case submission form can be found at http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/help/contactHP.do?Page=contact_hp&admit=-682735245+1132762214101+28353475

If you have submitted a case and been assigned a case number and feel you aren't getting enough action though you've been patient, a note to me at firstname.lastname@hp.com with the case number will let me look up the case and pull it up the chain.

Without this process, the people who are paid to validate and document problems are bypassed and new products get delayed and all kinds of stuff hits the fan.

Please respect the spirit of the forum and observe proper bug reporting procedures.
