Help: HP SIM not showing Task Results

Hi All,

This is my first post here, I hope I can get answers quick. Our HP SIM suddenly stopped displaying the results of tasks. I run two tasks (Identify Systems and Subscribe to WBEM Events) and both of them just displays a blank page in the Task Results page of the browser used (I tried on both IE 6 and Firefox 3.5). I have already filed a case to the HP global solutions center, but I need to have a quick resolution since this is hindering the deployment of RSP in our critical servers.

If it helps, We are using an HP Proliant DL380 G5 running Windows Server 2003 as our CMS, and we use Systems Insight Manager 5.3 to manage our nodes.

Have the credentials changed for the account that runs the tasks? Are there any errors in the task result logs?

None of the credentials were changed. Which task result log are you pertaining to?

In SIM, go to Tasks and Logs, then select view task results.

There is nothing in the Tasks and Logs. It just says "There are no available task results to display."

Is it more likely that the task is not being run so there are no results? Or the tasks run are simply completely not recorded.

Any ideas?
