Monitoring Temprature of HPUX Machines Using SIM 6.0
Hi,
I want to monitor My HPUX v 11i machines temprature using Windows SIM 6.0 and then want to Integrate this with HP OM 8.16.
Right Now i am not been able to monitor the tempratue i dont know how to monitor..
Any help...

Could you provide the exact HP-UX version and hardware model of the server?
You can probably forget monitoring the temperature of old PA-RISC/Itanium servers. If you are lucky a event will be generated when they get too hot. But if they are blades then it might work thru the blade onboard administrator.

My Server's Model Includes rx3600,rx7640,rx8640,Superdoom,rp3440 with HPUX 11.31 & rp4440 with HPUX 11.11.
My HP SIM 6.0 is installed on Widows 2003 SP2.
I am new to SIM & Monitoring as wel...
