Hostname mismatch and some hardware events questions
I just upgraded from 4.1 to HP SIM 4.2. When I open insight manager i get a hostname mismatch. In 4.1 I had edited the checksvc.js file to edit and replace localhost with the FQDN of the server. It had fixed it. In 4.2 I check this file and I see the FQDN name there but I still get hostname mismatch error.
Can someone help me fix this error. When I click yes continue I can get into SIM but this is a bit of nuisance everytime.
Also, I am setting up some events for Hardware errors. I am setting it up for Netservers and Proliant. When I go under Phsyical drive state change why do I see mulitple choices like Physical Drive state change (3033), physical drive state (3) etc. What are these different numbers for. Does anyone know of a help document which clarifies what each description is for, I am finding it very confusing with so many options and no description. Like even for fan failure there is System fan failure, fan failure (whats the difference). Then there are all the Netrain4MXXXX events in there which I have no idea what they refer to. Any document helping regarding this would be very useful.
Thanks in advance for your help.
