Re: Hostname Mismatch
I found this in an older forum post:
Had the same issue. The HP Icon on the desktop links to a java script [checksvc.js] = C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager directory, make a backup copy, edit the original by removing 'localhost' and replacing with your 'server name'.
See if that helps.

Re: Hostname Mismatch
Darn good question. I saw 3 or 4 posts that referenced that filename so I went to my SIM server that is running on Win2K3 and could not find it either. I guess we are now in the same boat.
I wonder if it (checksvc.js)was present in SIM 4.1 and now no longer in SIM 4.2?
I will check one of the internal HP forums to see if there is another solution.
