How do I completely unistall HP SIM 5.3 and SQL Server Express?

I uninstalled HP SIM 5.3 and all of its components but when I try and reinstall it HP SIM keeps finding a previous version of SQL Server Express and will not install a new version. How do I remove the SQL Server express version that HP SIM installed?
