How do I create a task?

How do I create a task? Im on work via my uni and been thrown to work some with HP Insight Manager / OSEM wich is completly new to me. The purpose in the whole is to get Insight manager to send a trap whenever a certain process is up and running or gets shut downed. But ill guess I dont need the whole story told just a line to get me on the right path, any suggestions?

If you wnat to the information on a process if it has been started or closed, the only ways is the go on the server where the process(start or closed),you go in Control pannel,HP Management Agent>Process Monitor then you configure wich one you want to monitor and if it is not there ,you have a ADD buton to go get it
