Re: How to identify system running low memory ?
The answer is ProLiant Essentials Performance Management Pack
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantessentials/valuepack/PMP/index.html
It is not exactly free, see this link for information about licensing:

Re: How to identify system running low memory ?
You're completly right I'm going to take some time to contribute the best I can to this forum...
Regarding my question, I'd like to do this with the minum addition to my managed hosts.
Is it possible to identiy a lack of memory usinf the standard preformance thresholds that come with Management Agents 7.30 or 7.40 ?

Re: How to identify system running low memory ?
If the Pagefile starts to get heavily used then it is an indication that Memory is scarce.
Set the threasholds quite low, e.g. 50 & 70 might be a place to start.

Re: How to identify system running low memory ?
Is there a way to deploy all the possible thresholds part of Management agents 7.40 ?
Another question, what is the component that installs the available thresholds on a system ?

Re: How to identify system running low memory ?
I believe they're aprt of the Foundation Agents. The actual sub-agents can be enabled / disabled in the HP Management Agents GUI available from the Control Panel.
It's always advisable to install the entire PSP as the Agents ghet their information from the Drivers. You can have issues if you just try and install selected parts of the HP Management Agent suite.
