how to import systems from one HPSIM Server to an other?

Hello,

Probably a simple question but ...

I am building a new server (Windows 2003 SP1) with HPSIM 4.2 and MSDE 2000 SP3.

Is it possible to import (or export) systems and others config parameters from one server running HP SIM 4.1 + MSDE to an other server running HPSIM 4.2 + MDE, so that I wouldn't have to recreate everyting on the new server?

Hi,

I never did it before, but as far as i have read, you just have to copy "config" sub directory from Systems Insight Manager to mantain the parameters of CMS.
The systems, the best away to do it is "export" the systems host file and them add it with that file on the new CMS.

The PDF document attached as all the instructions (i guess...).
