How to manage disk full events causing email flood
I would like to find out how to manage the flood of email alerts monitoring disk space.
I would like the disk space monitoring to happen at a predetermined time, say every 10 minutes but don't want a repeat email to tell me the E: drive of xyz server has run out of space every 10 minutes.
Can I get the Event to report only once (until cleared which will report again) or report only once say daily.
If I can't change the Event generation, can I get the email notification to do something similar.
I am using WBEM gathering on all servers if that makes a difference as I know that SNMP did provide some different ways of sending traps.
Any ideas?
