How to upgrade SIM on Windows Server 2008 SP1 on Proliant DL380 G7?

I have successfully installed SIM 6.2 on windows server 2008 SP1 using the HP management DVD. But according to the OS list for HP SIM on windows, SIM 6.2 is not supported on this OS.

 

Then how am I able to access SIM on my OS?

 

Actually I wanted to upgrade to the latest SIM v7.0. But running the exe, gives an error i.e. it is not supported on this OS.

 

Any suggestions?
