HP Agent Alert in MOM2K5
Hi,
We moved an enclusure that houses 8 BL2p blades this weekend. All of the systems are up and running fine but for each blade MOM keeps throwing this alert:
Description:
This Hardware Component is in failed state. Please find associated Alerts to this server if available. Also launch HP System Management Homepage task for more information and further diagnostic. Name: HP Hardware Component: Enclosure Status
Severity: Critical Error
Resolution State: New
Domain: BMC
Computer: [DELETED]
Time of First Event: 04/08/2006 8:01:24 PM
Time of Last Event: 04/10/2006 11:06:25 AM
Alert latency: 0 sec
Problem State: Active
Repeat Count: 469
Age:
Source: HP ProLiant Management Pack
Alert Id: 595306f2-3619-412c-bbbb-18f3364da5a1
Rule (enabled): HP ProLiant Servers\HP Insight Management Agents\State Monitoring and Service Discovery\HP ProLiant Servers Service Discovery
By looking at the error I see that this is an "Enclosure Status" error, my question is, other than visually, how do I interface with the enclosure to resolve any issues it may have? We've seen issues with enclosure/rack power before but nothing that is completely enclosure related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

Re: HP Agent Alert in MOM2K5
If you visit the System Management Homepage on any of the servers in the enclosure, there will be a status box called 'Enclosure' that provides links to additional details. Failing that, visit an iLO and use the 'BL p-Class' tab in the UI for more information. There should also be information in the IML.
