HP Insight Manager 5.2 and CV 8.02
HP SIM 5.2 will not bring in EVA storage arrays, I have added the trust relation into Command View and test WBEMDisco successfully.
Only thing SIM brings in is the server itself and does not bring in the EVA Storage arrays.

Re: HP Insight Manager 5.2 and CV 8.02
Are HPSIM anc CV on the same server?
HP SIM discovers the EVA via CV. It needs suitable credentials added into the server specific properties that have access to CV. e.g. the added user needs to be in the storage admins group on the CV Server.

Re: HP Insight Manager 5.2 and CV 8.02
CV is on a different server.
What exactly needs to be added on the HP SIMs server? I log into into CV with an admin type account not the default administrator account. Right now on the SIMS server I am just running the discoverery for the IP address for CV, how to add server specific properties?
Thanks!

Re: HP Insight Manager 5.2 and CV 8.02
Update: I got it working now, I did a manual discovery for the CV in SIM and identified the proper username and password for login along with the port # 5989.
Thanks !
