HP Insight manager upgrade

I am planning on setting up the newest version of HP Insight Manager on a new server. I want to export the existing insight manager database (hp insight manager 7 sp2). Will I be able to export the database into the most current version or will the data base need to be converted to a newer format?

You cannot export 7.2 database to newest versions of HPSIM.
You migration path must be:
Insight manager 7.2 - > HP Systems Insight Manager 4.2 -> HP Systems Insight Manager 5
