HP management agent stops working ESX 3.5
HP management 8.0.0 agents stops working after a number of days of the service up and running.
Service stops sending traps and a system time out error message is give when attempting web access via :2381
Stopping hpasm and snmpd services and restarting does not bring back online only a reboot does this.
Any ideas appreciated.

I would recommend getting hold of 8.1 of the HP Agents for ESX.
They fixed a few problems with 8.0.
