HP Management agents/high CPU Usage
I recently upgraded to the HP Management agents version 7.40 on several Proliant 580 servers running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. When the service is started, I see "cqmgserv.exe" in the Task manager using loads of CPU. When I turn off the management agent service everything goes back to normal. I let the service run for about 48 hours on one server, thinking that maybe it was doing initial data collection or something, but it kept the CPU pegged for the whole time until I shut it down.
Has anyone else run into this?
Anyone have any idea what can be done to stop it?
Thanks.
