HP Performance Management Pack service keeps failing
We run HP SIM 5.0 SP4. This just started happening recently. I don't understand what's causing it. But the Performance Management Pack service would stop and fail shortly after it's started. It continues to do the same when you restart it manually. It does not stay running. any thoughts? thanks.

Re: HP Performance Management Pack service keeps failing
In the PMP installation directory you can create a file pmplog.txt.
If this is present PMP will log details of what is going on.
I had a similar problem, and the rather bizarre fix was to reinstall the SMH on that server.
Why this worked I've no idea.
If you search through the forum you may find some more details.
