HP Performance Mangement Pack Proxy error 502
Hello everyone,
I am currently configuring my CMS for performance monitoring and I seem to have run into a little snag. I completed the process for assigning a PMP license to the managed server. However, when I try and perform a Perfomance analysis on it from my CMS, the following error is displayed -
502 proxy error. Proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy could not handle the request "get/pmp/impf.htm.
reason: error reading from remote server.
The proxy settings in the browser are disabled so i'm not sure why i am getting this error.
Any tips or workarounds for me? Couldn't get a detailed description of this error from the installation guides, technical white papers etc.
See attached...

Re: HP Performance Mangement Pack Proxy error 502
I am not sure exactly what can cause this error but, you can start by seeing if the SMH can be accessed directly using the CMS web browser. It maybe that HP SIM is trying to access the target server using another name or IP address. Make sure DNS is working correctly. Also that the target server really does have the IP address that HP SIM thinks it has.
