Re: HP SIM 4.1 Automatic Event Handling
If that does not work, consider uninstalling all installed versions of Java JRE from the Add/Remove Programs applet and let hp Systems Insight Manager reinstall Java upon initialization.

Re: HP SIM 4.1 Automatic Event Handling
The one thing i noticed though, is that 3rd menu does "kinda flash" as it appears to be trying to appear but may be in the background of the other 2 menus. Guessing. But it does quickly flash when accessing that 3rd menu.
Any ideas as to the IE browser portion causing Java issues? Thanks. I have the newest XP Pro SP2 IE version, no one else in the office seems to have this proble.
Thanks.

Re: HP SIM 4.1 Automatic Event Handling
Tried all that, even turning off the firewall completely. Others in the office as well run SP2 and are fine, just that 1 menu does not come to the forefront of the page.
i know it has to do with either java or IE.....I'm leaning on IE personally but not sure what.

Re: HP SIM 4.1 Automatic Event Handling
i have tried using their settings, java versions, IE settings.....no getting anywhere.
i also noticed today that menu "security" then "certificates" does the same thing! Seems any of these menus that need 3 layer to display cannot.
