SolutionHPSIM must be installed on one server wich then act like central management server. The other servers must have installed HP Insight Management Agents and Version Control Agents.
From HPSIM you can connect to all server wich have agents.
Central server will send alerts for all servers in your management domain.

Re: HP SIM 4.1
Can you tell me where I can find the software for the agents for Windows 2000/2003 servers?

Re: HP SIM 4.1
When I try to install the agent on the other servers I get the message that is attached.
When I try to install the system management drivers on the system, I get an error to say that it is already installed.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: HP SIM 4.1
Are the other Servers HP?
How were the Servers built? if they don't have the System Management Drivers I'm guessing that they were not built with smart start.
Providing these are HP Servers You will need to install the entire Softpaq.
Download the appropriate softpaq for the OS.
Run setup.exe, downloaded with the softpaq and then configure the Agents. Then from the same utility you can Select a Server and push the entire softpaq onto that Server.

Re: HP SIM 4.1
I will look at installing the softpaq for each server and see how I get on.

Re: HP SIM 4.1
Check the HP page for the specifications though.
