HP SIM 4.2 CMS Performance
I'm upgrading from CIM7 to HPSIM 4.2 and am concerned about the high CPU and memory demands.
So far I've upgraded my test and hot-spare servers and both really took a performance hit. Before I upgrade my production server I wanted to get an idea of what to expect based on others experiences with HPSIM 4.2.
Here are my server specs:
Test Server
ML370
2-733MHZ PIII CPUs
2GB RAM
Hot-spare server
ML370
2-1GHZ PIII CPUs
1.5GB RAM
Prod
ML530
2-3GHZ CPUs
2GB RAM
TIA,
Dave
