HP SIM 4.2 Configuration Woes (mxinitconfig)

I have successfully installed HP SIM 4.2 on a RHEL3 server following the instructions down to the tee.

Configuration requires the following instructions:

1) mxinitconfig -l

* everything is acceptable until 14 - agent configuration is reached. Then mxinitconfig hangs.

2) mxinitconfig -a

* Prerequisite scan is successful. But then configuring server component 4 (server authentication keys) hangs.

Is there something I'm missing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
