HP SIM 5.3 ESX 4 host WBEM subscription fails

HP SIM has identified WBEM on the host, I've opened the appropriate ports in the ESX firewall, and yet when I try to subscribe I get the following error:

"FAILED to create indication subscription"

did you use correct WBEM credentials to ESX server? Like root user?

Do you have some metrial showing how to disable WBEM ports at ESX firewall??

Yes, I have added the root cridentials for WBEM to all my ESX systems.

I'm not sure what you mean by disabling the ports? SIM clearly sees WBEM 1.0 available as a management protocol on the system, so it must have detected it somehow?

esxcfg-firewall -q gives the following output:

Incoming and outgoing ports blocked by default.
Enabled services: CIMSLP VCB CIMHttpsServer snmpd vpxHeartbeats sshServer CIMHttpServer

Opened ports:
hp-sim : port 2301 tcp.in
hpim : port 2381 tcp.in
sim-cert : port 280 tcp.out
cimserver : port 5988:5989 tcp.in tcp.out

WBEM subscription and notification is not supported on ESX classic hosts,

It is only supported on HP Integrated VMware ESXi (ESXi)
