HP SIM 7.2: more information in the email receiving when events occur
Hi,
i'm using HP SIM 7.2 on a VM running SLES 11 SP2. I'm monitoring some server and a P 2000 MSA G3. When i'm causing some errors on the MSA (removing a disk from the RAID or disconnecting one FC connection), SIM is informed via SNMP and i'm getting an email. The information in the event tab from SIM is very detailed (e.g. a storage event: "Event type: 274, A PHY was disabled. (enclosure: 1, IOM: A, PHY: 0, physical PHY ID: 10, PHY type: Disk, reason: Disabled because of empty drive slot). The information i receive via email is much less detailed and more general: "Event description: An event has been generated by the storage array. Recommended severity level (for filtering): warning". I'd like to get the more detailed information also via email. Is there any way ?
Thanks in advance.
Bernd
